Only Three students of the Welsh Academy of Martial Arts travelled to Gloucester on the 28th of August to take part in the British Open Series and all three returned with trophies.

First up was  Little Kyron Caddick 1st Place in the Point Section.

Kyron who is nicknamed “Speedy” by his football coach for his lightening speed on the pitch, flew through his category taking 1st Place after fighting several of his opponents, winning the British Open Series September 2005

Second up was Jordan Sheekey 3rd Place in the Points Section

Jordan aged 12 was unfortunately beaten by a more experienced fighter.  Jordan was winning at the half way point by 2-0 but was then unfortunately beaten by 1 point.  An excellent performance by Jordan who hasn`t been fighting on the circuit for very long.

Third up was James Sheekey 1st Place Light Contact Section.

James aged 10 took 1st Place. Another outstanding performance by the Sheekey Brothers.  James dominating the section right from the start. At one point James was asked to control his power, and on doing so his opponents picked up the speed, but James took control again and beat all his opponents to win the British Open Series September 2005.

Congratulations to all three students who performed to the crowd with an outstanding display of martial arts.
